Hanseatic Power Cert GmbH (HPC) is a specialist for all third-party inspection and testing services for national and international offshore wind farms.
This includes all parts of a project certification of offshore constructions, from design to dismantling. As a Certification Body accredited by the DAkkS in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065, all requirements for independent and qualified processing of the required tasks are met. The certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001 forms the basis for this.
The accreditation covers national and international requirements, e.g. IECRE OD-502, its predecessor, IEC 61400-22 or the current version of the BSH standard construction.
Officially accredited by the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH, “Bundesamt für Seeschifffahrt und Hydrographie”), Hanseatic Power Cert GmbH thus guarantees the smooth process of a complete project certification, as well as all tasks of the BSH standard both in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and in coastal waters according to regional planning/BImSchG procedures.
In view of the increasing use of wind energy for the production of hydrogen, HPC has been accredited as an inspection body (type C) in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020 for high-pressure gas pipelines in accordance with the High Pressure Gas Pipeline Ordinance (GasHDrLtgV) since 2021. This means that preliminary (“Vorabbescheinigungen”) and final certificates “Schlussbescheinigungen”) can be issued for all pipelines, whether onshore or offshore, in accordance with the legal requirements, or inspections can be carried out during operation.
A certification of an offshore pipeline according to the current DNV service specification DNV-SE-0475 is also part of HPC's scope of services.
The company was founded in 2008 by experienced experts in the offshore wind industry, all of whom are committed to both the expansion of renewable energies and compliance with safety-relevant standards.
